Our Story
It all started after seeing a local guide magazine in a coffee shop.
With a passion for marketing and community, Jessica, owner of Sandpoint & Bonners Ferry’s Best Lifestyle and a native of Idaho, began to see just how powerful local media could be. After 10 years of local marketing in Sandpoint, she launched something of her own in 2022, inspired by that day in the coffee shop: a feel-good, mobile-friendly, content-rich magazine that celebrates the real life of real people—and helps businesses grow while doing it.
Today, with wonderful and dedicated staff, each issue keeps growing—just like the community it represents.

But some surprises often come, especially if your child has a coach like Josh Ratigan. In that case, they also have gained a lifelong mentor, whose unique coaching style goes beyond the norm.
The Forge
When Michael Johnson purchased an Ooni pizza oven in 2019, he quickly became obsessed with creating the perfect Neapolitan pizza. Before long, he served his creations as the owner of Panhandle Pizza Kitchen at various locations, including MickDuff’s Beer Hall, the Festival at Sandpoint, and the Longshot, which has since closed.
Lost in the 50's
It’s a cherished Sandpoint tradition that brings visitors from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada, transforming our downtown into a blast from the past. Celebrating its 38th year, Lost in the 50s again promises to delight all generations with customary events while adding some new twists to the weekend.
